ALESSI - Center Table Bark Black

Bark is a superb fruit basket, the shape and decoration of which is unmistakably reminiscent of the bark of the tree. An industrial piece in metal that pays homage to nature.

This centerpiece is the fruit of the first collaboration between the famous Italian firm and the designer couple Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui.

They were inspired by nature to design this magnificent fruit basket. The designs cut directly from the metal are reminiscent of the grain of wood, while the elongated and slightly curved shape resembles the bark of wood.

This basket owes its name to the bark, since Bark is the English word for tree bark.It is interesting to see how, through the work of the silversmiths of Alessi, an industrial piece made in stainless steel can give a rendering so natural and close to the plant.

Due to its elongated shape, this basket is ideal as a centerpiece or as a fruit bowl on a large buffet.
