Usage Instructions

To fully enjoy your Diptyque candle:

Preparing the space

• Place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface
• Protect delicate surfaces such as wood or marble
• Keep away from flammable materials and out of reach of children and pets

Lighting the candle

• Use a match to prevent burns
• On first use, allow the wax to melt across the entire surface (approx. 4 hours) to prevent tunneling

During burning

• Do not burn the candle for more than 4 consecutive hours after the first use
• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Do not move the candle while lit or still hot
• Keep away from drafts and leave at least 10 cm between two candles

After use

• Extinguish the flame with a snuffer
• Center the wick
• Trim the wick to 3–5 mm before relighting

End of use

• Stop burning when only 5 mm of wax remains or when the metal wick holder becomes visible

Care and storage

• Ventilate the room after use
• Allow the wax to cool completely before moving the candle
• Store in a dry, temperate place (15–25 °C), away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration or damage
