Once upon a time, there was “A Night of Wax and Gold”, Diptyque’s festive tale… This year, the Maison celebrates the holidays with a magical story, inviting you to dive into an enchanting reimagined Saint-Germain-des-Prés, full of surreal touches.

This creation brings together three artists in homage to the Maison’s founders: Victor Pouchet, contemporary writer and poet; Vincent Puente, Parisian illustrator and bookseller with surreal humor; and Inès Mélia, artist who transforms everyday objects into poetic, narrative works.

The story begins in a Saint-Germain-des-Prés bookstore, days before the holidays, where the bookseller and his cat Archibald discover the attraction of a small pinecone immersed in the shimmering wax of a scented candle. Magic unfolds with every page…

The icons of winter escape the tale to adorn surreal drawings and golden motifs. The pages of the storybook become gift boxes and wrapping paper, full of precious detail and poetry. A celebration of wonder where every detail extends the magic of the holidays.
