LALIQUE Candle Vase Crystal Blackbirds and Grapes

A masterpiece of the artist's Art Deco period, "Merles et Raisins" (1928) was created for the panels adorning the legendary Orient Express.
A virtuoso achievement of Lalique's Design Studio and its master glassmakers, the beautifully detailed satin-finish crystal vase of the Merles et Raisins candle is a true feat. 

Composed by Leslie Girard, its delectable fruity-woody scent evokes the rich, warm scent of a vineyard before the harvest. A pure essence of sweet orange pours in the sun.
To recreate the noble aromas of a great Bordeaux, perfumer Leslie Girard combines notes of grape, iris and fig with davana, a rare ingredient with facets of fruit, wood and liqueur. An extract of rum ignites the composition. Sandalwood softens it with its creamy fragrance.
Earthy and dark, patchouli and cypriol give off the generous scent of the land.
