Care & Burning Instructions

Preparing the space

• Place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface.

• Protect delicate materials such as wood or marble with a candle holder or tray.

• Keep away from flammable objects, children and pets.

• Ensure sufficient space around the candle or use outdoors if appropriate.

Lighting the candle

• Light with a match to avoid burns.

• At first use, allow the candle to burn until the entire surface has melted (approximately 3–4 hours depending on the fragrance). This prevents tunnelling and ensures even burning.

During use

• After the first burn, do not exceed 4 hours of continuous burning.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

• Do not move the candle while lit or when wax is hot.

• Keep away from draughts and maintain at least 10 cm (4 inches) between candles.

After each use

• Extinguish the flame using a candle snuffer to prevent wax splashing.

• Re-centre the wicks once extinguished.

• Trim the wicks before relighting (ideal length: 3–5 mm).

End of use

• Stop using the candle when 5 mm of wax remains or when the metal wick base becomes visible.

Storage

• Ventilate the room after use.

• Allow wax to cool completely before moving the candle.

• Store in a dry, temperate place (15–25 °C / 59–77 °F), away from direct sunlight.
