A pop sculpture lamp inspired by classical antiquity

With the New Antic collection, Italian designer Uto Balmoral playfully revisits classical antiquity through a bold, pop-inspired reinterpretation of an ancient bust. Far from the seriousness of traditional statues, this young ephebe seems surprised by the pink chewing-gum bubble emerging from his mouth.

Through this playful and provocative design, Uto Balmoral reimagines fragments of classical heritage, bringing them into dialogue with the present in a surreal and humorous way. The resin head perfectly imitates white marble, while the pink glass bubble acts as a diffuser, illuminated by the LED bulb placed inside.

Blurring the boundary between art and design, this sculptural lamp creates a dreamlike and extravagant atmosphere. The designer’s signature sense of humour and irreverence transforms the object into a striking decorative piece.
